Reflections (Term 3 Week 4): Cyberbullying

According to the most recent survey conducted by Singapore Children's Society, about 1 in 5 primary school kids had the misfortune of being bullied by their peers in school.

The most common form of these cowardice acts is verbal bullying, such as abusive and nasty name-calling.

Relational bullying is the next prevalent form of bullying on the list. Bullies often bully others by terminating friendships with their victims or by ostracizing them from a group. They also spread rumours among their peers and teachers, resulting in risk of depression for the victims.

Bullying can also take place in the cyber world. We call this "CyberBullying".
