Andrea Juliana Randhawa - 5.7 Star Pupil for the Month of April 2008

I know it took me very long to finally announce our Star Pupil for the Month of April. Afterall, we are already more than three-quarter through May! =S

I was contemplating over 3 pupils, 2 boys and 1 girl, before deciding on Andrea.

Andrea is one exemplary pupil, monitoress and prefect. (Note: Do not confuse this with the 3-in-1 instant coffee mix). =P

As a pupil, she is independent and takes charge of her personal academic work. Andrea is also conscientious and she always does her best in all her given assignments. It is not difficult to identify these qualities from the fine work that she produced. She possesses a pleasant disposition and carries herself well. Andrea gets along well with her classmates and is well-liked by many. With all these positive attributes and more, Andrea exerts a good influence on her peers.

As the monitoress, Andrea is defintely the right-hand girl of all teachers. There is this Chinese metaphor, "Tiger with added wings", which aptly describes her as that pair of wings to the tiger. Simply, it means her presence allows teachers to work more efficiently. Her leadership quality is also apparent in the course of her duties. Her great initiatives come in that same bundle too! =)

A school prefect has to be a good role-model himself/herself. There's no doubt about her. She commands the respect of her peers and works well in a team. She is responsible and has the capabilities to carry out important tasks.

I am confident that Andrea has the potential to excel in her future pursuits.

Hey Andrea, this is the only individual shot I have. Make do with it for the time being. I'll take another and change this in the blog and the Wall of Fame next term. =)
