P5 Camp @ Jalan Bahtera

I know some of u are hoping to see the photos and re-lived those moments. The 2-day 1-night camp ended on a high note on 29 Aug 2008. I have many thoughts, feelings and observations to write about, but I would have to leave it to after my return from India in 1 week's time.

Meanwhile, u may like to write your reflections of this P5 camp in your blog too! =D

Reflections (Term 3 Week 9): Olympics

We are in the midst of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Singapore has finally gotten a silver medal in the Women's Table Tennis Team Event.

This week, let's talk about Olympics and what it means to you. Carry out your reflections using the questions listed below:

1. What is the origin of 'Olympics' ?
2. Why is it such an important event in sports?
3. Have you watched any Olympic event(s)? Why/Why not?
4. Which athlete(s) or event(s) impresses/(impress) you most? Why?
5. Would you like to participate in the Olympic Games? If so, what event would you like to take part in and why?
6. Do you think it is worth organising the Olympics? Why?

Write sensibly. I am reading it. ;)

P.S. Thanks to Benz for suggesting a blog entry on Olympics! =D
